Privacy policy
Who we are. Connected Cooperation is a business of Mattsum Limited, a New Zealand company. Our postal address is Suite 14192, Unit A, Ground Floor, 26 Hobson Street, Auckland Central, Auckland 1010, New Zealand. For anything about your information, email sue@connectedcooperation.com.
What we collect.
When you sign up for a free guide or our emails: your email address.
When you buy something: your name, email address and payment details. Card details go straight to our payment provider, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
When you write to us: whatever you choose to tell us, including when you reply to our emails.
When you visit our pages: our pages use the Meta Pixel, which uses cookies to record things like which pages you visit and whether you sign up or buy. We also use PostHog to see how visitors use our pages (which pages you view, where you click and how far you scroll), including recordings of page activity. Anything you type into a form is hidden from those recordings.
Why we collect it. To send you what you asked for, deliver what you buy, send you our emails (parenting ideas, and offers for our own products), reply to you, and measure and improve our advertising and our website.
Things you tell us. Many parents reply to our emails with stories about their children. We only use what you tell us to reply to you and to shape what we write. We never publish anything that identifies you or your child without asking you first.
Who we share it with. We don't sell or rent your information. We use these services to run the business, and they handle your information on our behalf:
systeme.io hosts our website, our emails and our contact list.
Stripe processes payments.
Meta (Facebook and Instagram): when you sign up or buy, our website and systeme.io send Meta a record of that action, which can include a scrambled (hashed) copy of your email address. Meta uses it to tell us which ads work and to show our ads to people likely to find them useful.
PostHog measures how our pages are used, so we can make them clearer.
These companies store information outside New Zealand, including in Europe and the United States. Each has its own privacy policy.
Cookies. The Meta Pixel and systeme.io use cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and change how Meta uses your information for ads in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings. Our pages still work without them.
How long we keep it. We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. We keep purchase records for seven years, because New Zealand tax law requires it.
Your choices and rights. Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask to see the information we hold about you and ask us to correct it, and you can ask us to delete it. Just email sue@connectedcooperation.com. If you're not happy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
Changes. If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
Terms of sale
These terms apply to everything you buy from Connected Cooperation, a business of Mattsum Limited, a New Zealand company, Suite 14192, Unit A, Ground Floor, 26 Hobson Street, Auckland Central, Auckland 1010, New Zealand. Contact: sue@connectedcooperation.com
What you're buying. Our products are digital: email courses, ebooks and online programmes. Each product's page tells you what it includes and how and when it is delivered. Nothing is posted to you.
Price and payment. Prices are in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and are the full price you pay. We are not registered for GST, so no GST is charged. Payment is taken by card when you order, through our payment provider. Your bank may add a currency conversion fee if your card is not in NZD.
Guarantees and refunds. If a product comes with a guarantee, its page sets out how long you have and what it covers, and that guarantee forms part of these terms. To ask for a refund, email us within the guarantee period. Refunds go back to the card you paid with; your bank usually shows them within 5 to 10 business days.
Using what you buy. Our products are for your own personal and family use. Please don't share, resell or republish them.
Not professional advice. Our products share parenting ideas and our own experience. They are not medical, psychological or therapeutic advice. If you're worried about your child's health, development or safety, please talk to a qualified professional.
Your privacy. We use your details to deliver what you've bought and to send you our emails, which you can unsubscribe from at any time. See our privacy policy above.
Changes. We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your purchase are the ones shown when you order.
Your rights. These terms are governed by New Zealand law. Nothing in them limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.
